HELPFUL TIPS
I have a few helpful tips for you, but like I've mentioned above, your wedding day is your wedding day. You don't need to plan your wedding day a certain way, because that is the schedule you've been sent and "how a wedding day goes".
You've been planning this day or weekend in your heads for many many months, you've invited all your favorite people and you are ready to get MARRIED! Do not let anyone push you into a wedding schedule that you don't like.
My biggest tip would be to plan your bridal couple's portrait time according to the location's sunset time.
Chat with your photographer and double-check their suggested time.
For a typical SA summer wedding, sunset would be around 19:00 and winter months should be more or less around 17:30.
Plan an early ceremony!
The benefits of an early ceremony;
You have more time after your ceremony to mingle with your guests while soaking in all the moments. Not chugging your drink and running to the next "photo opt" with a have-eaten canapé in your hand.
More time = a relaxed bridal couple! Easy as that!
Here are a few suggested timelines, totally amendable to your personal needs;
The NO FLUFF Schedule is designed for couples who value their time with their guests more than the still shots of the jewellery and perfume.
Have you heard of the "First Look"?
Doing a first look is a very personal decision and no one can make it for you.
Seeing your person before the ceremony isn't for everyone, but it can be special as heck.
You have a few moments to look into each other's eyes, give long snuggle hugs and take a few minutes to sink into your new reality.
Your first look can be a few special moments or a short pre-ceremony couple session. That is all up to you.
Just let me know what you decide and I'll add it to your schedule!
