Have you heard of the "First Look"?

SOUTH AFRICA WEDDING & ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER - WILDFLOWER PHOTOGRAPHY

Doing a first look is a very personal decision and no one can make it for you.

Seeing your person before the ceremony isn't for everyone, but it can be special as heck.
You have a few moments to look into each other's eyes, give long snuggle hugs and take a few minutes to sink into your new reality.

Your first look can be a few special moments or a short pre-ceremony couple session. That is all up to you.

WEDDING TIMELINE

My biggest tip would be to plan your ceremony time according to the location, season & sunset time on the day you are getting married on. Chat with your photographer and double-check their suggested time.

For a typical SA summer wedding, I would 16:00.

Winter months should be a little earlier as the sun disappears from the horizon much faster.

14:30 will be perfect to make sure you don't have to rush any of the good moments.

This is just a suggested timeline and should be amended to personal needs.

  • Doing a first look or not?
  • Please chat with your florist to make sure the decor of your dreams will be ready to be photographed at the allocated time.
